North London Forensic Collaborative (NLFC) Allied Health Professionals' (AHPs) Group held their annual learning event on Wednesday 20 March in Euston, London.
During the event, staff from across the AHPs service delivered a series of enlightening talks on pet therapy, dietetics, including forensic dietetics, sensory movement and a new web app designed by service users and the occupational therapy team.
Staff shared ideas for service quality improvement, highlighting the potential impact for services users, and the steps that would need to be taken to implement these ideas.
Becky Lodge, Head of Allied Health Professions and Rehabilitation, West London NHS Trust said:
“T he event was a resounding success! Creative, innovative and passionate clinicians brought many inspiring presentations to the day for discussion.
"The result was a rich day of similar themes across NLFC, reassuring us all that we are working towards common goals for our service users. We focused mainly on the health and wellbeing our service users, sensory integration, employment, dysphagia and technology innovations.”
