Partnership colleagues shortlisted at Royal College of Psychiatrists London awards

The Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych) London Division Awards took place on Wednesday 5 June. North London Mental Health Partnership colleagues were shortlisted in four different categories and attended the ceremony — congratulations!

The Awards celebrate the contributions of psychiatrists and other mental health professionals and carers across London. There were nine different awards for each of which three teams or individuals were shortlisted

The shortlisted nominees from our Partnership were:

  • Dr Bernie Chin (BEH) for 'Educator of the Year'
  • Dr Alan Baban (C&I) for 'Psychiatry Higher Trainee of the Year'
  • Dr Kate Doukova for 'Psychiatrist of the Year'
  • Barnet Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (BEH) for 'Team of the Year'.

Although none of our colleagues won their respective categories overall, we are incredibly proud of their achievements and grateful for the value they add to our services and service users.

Dr Doukova said:

It was an honour to be nominated and shortlisted for the awards.

Dr Baban said:

It was a privilege to be shortlisted in the Higher Trainee category, and I am very grateful to have been nominated by Dr Ricky Sachdev.
