We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to enhancing children and young people's mental health services - the launch of our Youth Board. This dynamic and passionate group of young individuals (pictured) is set to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of mental health support for the next generation.
At North London Mental Health Partnership, we recognise the importance of including young voices in conversations about mental health. The Youth Board will be a key driver in advocating for positive system change, bringing the unique perspectives and experiences of children and young people to the forefront. By actively involving them in decision-making processes, we aim to create a mental health support system that is more responsive, inclusive, and effective.
Key objectives of the Youth Board:
We are proud to introduce the inaugural members of our Youth Board, a group of inspiring individuals who have shown a deep commitment to mental health advocacy pictured below with Haleemah Ahmed, as assistant psychologist at Barnet CAMHS and King Agyapong our CAMHS co-production lead.
We invite everyone to support the Youth Board's initiatives and stay connected with their progress. We encourage you to engage with our posts on the trust social media accounts, attend virtual events, and participate in discussions as we work together to create a brighter future for children and young people's mental health.
Thank you for your continued support as we embark on this exciting journey of positive change. Together, we can build a world where every child and young person has the mental health support they need to thrive.
