Governors' committees
The C&I Council of Governors is advised by two committees which are listed below.
They are also supported by informal Working Groups which are a local C&I initiative to enhance Governor engagement.
Council of Governors' Steering Committee
The aims of the committee are:
- To oversee the scheduling, agenda planning and appropriate arrangements for Council of Governor meetings.
- To foster sustainable engagement in a range of activities between all Governors and the Board of Directors.
- To oversee Governor training and development.

Council of Governors' Nominations and Remuneration Committee
The aims of the committee are:
- To make recommendations to the Council of Governors on the appointment, re-appointment or removal of the Chair and the other Non-Executive Directors.
- To make recommendations to the Council of Governors on the approval of the appointment of the Chief Executive.
- To recommend to the Council of Governors the level of remuneration and expenses, and other terms and conditions of office, of the Chair and other Non-Executive Directors.
